This workshop will explore several questions related to educators as consumers of research. What can research offer educators? How can educators be more informed consumers? Where can educators find trusted information about the research on reading? Participants in this workshop will learn how to discriminate research from other types of publications, how to read a published research article, and how to judge the value of a research study for informing reading instruction.
